What does Rain Center stand for, Reptiles Amphibians Invertebrates Nature Center.
Who are we. Currently we are Working on our 501(c) Status and Finding a Location to build on. We are Currently forming a Board of Directors and Working on Obtaining local and State wildlife permits.
What is our Goal: To Bring a Nature Center/Botanical Garden to Wichita Falls Texas. To Feature Species from around the world in Naturalist Environments. To Provide a Safe Environment for the Species while providing people a chance to see various Small species often over looked by Larger Zoos. Our Facilities will feature natural enclosures both indoor and outdoor. Plans include a Tropical Rain Forest Greenhouse, and Botanical Gardens. We will also Feature Fresh and Saltwater Aquariums.
Inspiration for the Facilities. Designs will be inspired by Places such as the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, Dallas World Aquariums and Zoo from around the Nation such as the Dallas Zoo, Fort Worth Zoo, San Antonio Zoo, and the Oklahoma City Zoo and other Zoos and Botanical Gardens
